A fabulous Art Deco necklace from the 1920s adorned with a wonderful pendant depicting a bunch of Grapes on the vine made up of lustrous natural Pearls.
Grapes symbolise fertility and abundance and have been a popular motif in jewellery throughout history. The Vine itself also symbolises renewal, growth and opportunity as the plant is known to grasp anything around it in order to grow and rise to the top.
The pendant is all 18ct Yellow Gold with 18ct White Gold leaves and chain. It is a lovely piece and complete with a newer box with cream velvet interior to store it in.
